Stansted Audi named Audi UK's Centre of the Year 2023!

We are delighted to announce that Stansted Audi has been named as ‘Centre of Year’ in the 2023 Audi UK Q Power Awards.

Established in 2009, the Audi Q Power performance awards are held each year to celebrate members of staff going above and beyond in areas such as customer connections, experience, loyalty, quality, staff certification and sales. Rankings are determined by key performance indicators across that are monitored throughout the year, benchmarking over 100 retailers across the Audi network. Covering both the Sales and Aftersales arena, the ‘UK Centre of the Year’ award demonstrates the collective ambitions of the whole team as they strive to deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and colleagues, time after time.
Back in July last year, the centre began their winning streak when they finished Half Year 1 in first place across the UK Audi partner network. They subsequently won the title again during the Half Year 2 rankings in December, which resulted in the team winning the prestigious award for 2023 and highlighting Stansted Audi’s continued commitment to success.

Audi UK Director, Andrew Doyle presented the team at Stansted Audi with their award on Monday 18th March, alongside James Allit (Head of Aftersales, Audi UK) and Mark Newton (National Aftersales Manager, Audi UK). They were also joined by Trystan Lakin (Regional Sales Manager, Audi UK) and Dave Cartwright (Regional Aftersales Manager, Audi UK), who work closely with our Group 1 Audi centres to support them on a local level.

Speaking of their win, Bradley Lawrence, Head of Business at Stansted Audi says, “This award takes a huge amount of effort from every single team member and I am immensely proud that their achievements, and ultimately the experience they provide to our loyal customers, has been recognised in this way.”
Mark Althorp, Group 1 Audi’s Franchise Director, was also keen to share his congratulations for the team. “What a tremendous achievement it is for the team to not only win half year 1, but then also half year 2 and the overall award for the year. This win is testament to the hard work of the whole team at Stansted Audi, who all worked together to contribute to the award. It is very well deserved.”

Alongside presenting the top national award, touring the centre and speaking with the hardworking members of the team at Stansted Audi, Andrew Doyle also took the time to recognise another special achievement within the centre. David Capon, Stansted Audi’s Parts Manager, will be retiring this month following 50 years working within the Automotive industry having started as an apprentice back in 1974, and was congratulated by Andrew for his dedication and valued contribution to not only Stansted Audi and Group 1 Automotive, but to the brand as well.
